Senator (Dr.) Prince Ned Nwoko

Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North senatorial district in the National Assembly, expressed deep concerns regarding the future of Nigerian youths during an impromptu visit to the Ned/GKE Skills Acquisition Center in Asaba, the capital of Delta State.

Nwoko commended the center’s management and expressed satisfaction with their efforts to support vocational skills development.

He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in empowering young people and fostering self-reliance.

“I prioritize the future of Nigerian youths and citizens at large. Establishing a skills acquisition center will offer essential training, fostering economic empowerment and self-reliance among them.”

Nwoko emphasized his commitment as a senator to the well-being of Nigerian youths and citizens as a whole.

He highlighted that the establishment of a skills acquisition center will offer vital training, empowering them economically.

He pledged to contribute to the funding of the Skills Acquisition Centre, aiming to ensure that a greater number of Nigerian youths, particularly those hailing from Delta North, can avail themselves of its benefits.

The senator expressed his profound admiration for the exceptional quality and standards upheld at the skills acquisition center.

Mr. Emmanuel Okocha, President of the Ned/GKE Skills Acquisition Centre, attributed the center’s establishment to Nwoko’s influential mentoring.

Okocha praised the senator for both his visit and financial support, affirming the center’s commitment to sustaining its operations and expanding youth training opportunities to prevent street engagement.

He highlighted that the skills acquisition center has provided vocational and technical training to youths in Delta North across various fields including fashion design, photography, ICT, cosmetology, soap making, weaving, among others.
