The American actor Marlon Wayans is now involved in a paternity lawsuit following claims of secretly fathering a daughter.
Brittany Moreland, the woman behind the suit, alleges that Wayans is the father of her one-year-old daughter and is seeking financial assistance for her care, as reported by Radar Online.
Brittany Moreland, aged 34, has filed a petition with the court to conduct a paternity test to confirm Marlon Wayans, aged 51, as the father of her child.
In her court documents, Moreland states that she has incurred significant expenses for the birth and upbringing of her child, Axl July Ivory Wayans.
She requests that the Scary Movie star bear the financial responsibility for her legal fees and the “reasonable expenses of pregnancy and birth.”
Moreland’s report indicates that Wayans earns a monthly income of approximately $200,000, whereas she earns only $21,000. She asserts that Wayans is financially capable of providing child support.
Detailing her regular childcare expenses, Moreland claims to spend around $5,000 monthly on rent and $9,000 on childcare, groceries, and other essentials.
If Wayans is confirmed as the child’s father, this will mark the comedian’s third child. He currently has two sons with his ex-girlfriend, Angela Zachary.
