Adult film actress and exotic dancer, Kagney Linn Karter has died by suicide at the age of 36.
Reportedly, the porn star tragically took her own life at her home, as indicated by a GoFundMe page established by her friends on behalf of Kagney’s mother to gather funds for her funeral expenses.
“Despite her numerous impressive achievements and talents, Kagney grappled with mental health challenges over the years,” stated her friends Rachel and Megan.
“Even during her darkest moments, she remained dedicated to her work, always eager to learn and contribute, striving to improve herself in any way she could.”
They added,
“Despite feeling isolated within her own mind, she made an effort to support her friends and the community who cared for her.
She battled her inner demons with the same determination and vigor she exhibited in all aspects of her life, displaying remarkable strength throughout.
” Karter began her career in the adult film industry in the early 2000s, appearing in productions such as the Official Silence of the Lambs Parody and Not Married with Children XXX.
While she received multiple nominations for Adult Video News awards, she did not secure any victories.
In 2010, she earned a nomination for Best New Starlet, followed by another nomination in 2011 for Top Female Performer of the Year.
