Joint Operation by LAWMA and KAI to Clear Street Traders in Ajah. (Video)

Street vendors around the Ajah Jubilee Bridge were removed by the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) operatives, and various task force units.

Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources of the state, announced this on his X page on Monday.

Wahab shared a video from the operation and stated, “Enforcement against unauthorized street vending near the Ajah Jubilee Bridge continues today, Monday, November 6, 2023.”

The statement read, “Clampdown on illegal street trading activities around the Ajah Jubilee bridge continues today Monday 6th Nov 2023. The operation is led by @Lawma_gov Monitoring and Compliance team, and complimented by @LAGESCOfficial, @followlastma and TASK FORCE teams.
