Will Smith remains vocal about the revelations shared by his separated spouse, Jada Pinkett Smith, in her latest memoir titled “Worthy.”
The man with three children wrote a letter to Jay Shetty, a British podcaster, author, and life coach, who then conveyed the message to Pinkett Smith in a recent episode of his podcast, “On Purpose.”
In the letter composed by Will Smith and presented to Jada during the podcast episode that aired on Monday, October 16th, he expressed, “I’ve just reached the last page of ‘Worthy.’ It’s truly incredible to realize that even after spending most of my life by your side, I still felt a wave of surprise, amazement, and a rollercoaster of emotions — laughter, inspiration, and heartbreak. My emotions were all over the map.”
He continued, “It’s one thing to hear anecdotes at a family barbecue, but it was truly overwhelming to take in your story, potently condensed in this way.”
Having wed Pinkett Smith in 1997, Smith also voiced remorse concerning his own conduct throughout their 25-year union.
“I know it wasn’t easy to excavate the depths in that way. I applaud and honor you,” he wrote in the letter. “If I had read this book 30 years ago, I definitely would have hugged you more. I’ll start now. Welcome to the Authors Club. I love you endlessly. Now go get some Merlot and take a rest.”
Once Shetty completed reading Will Smith’s message, Jada Pinkett Smith erupted in a cheerful laugh during the podcast.
She exclaimed that, “He knows I can’t have no Merlot!.“ That’s beautiful. That’s why I can’t divorce that joker.”
She pressed on while crying.: “To hear him say that he would have hugged me more is me hearing him say he would have taken a bit more time to listen and understand.”
Today, October 17th, marks the release of “Worthy,” which unveils several shocking revelations about Pinkett Smith’s marriage. These revelations include the revelation that she and Smith have been living separately since 2016, and her acknowledgment of Tupac Shakur as her soulmate.
