Hidden Camera Exposes Cleaner Stealing From Hotel Room Guests.

Moment Cleaning Staff Was Stealing Valuable Items.

A cleaning staff member was apprehended for stealing valuable items and concealing them in her bra while tending to a family’s room at a four-star hotel in Benidorm.

Alastair and Sue Conner, who had spent approximately £5,500 on an all-inclusive package holiday, were accommodated at the Magic Natura Resort in Benidorm along with their 15-year-old son Jack in September.

Upon discovering missing items such as cigarette packets and perfumes in their hotel room, the British family from Stockton, Durham, decided to resolve the mystery by installing covert cameras in their room.

The couple photographed their belongings and discreetly placed a laptop on the dressing table to capture footage before leaving for the day.

The couple, parents of three, were astounded to witness the cleaner rifling through their belongings in the footage. She seized their perfume and cigarettes while performing her cleaning duties the following day.

The Conners estimated that approximately €750 worth of items were taken from their hotel room, including €385 in cash, €100 worth of perfume, and 260 cigarettes.

Sue, a 53-year-old finance director, remarked, “I observed that upon returning to the room, items were missing, my bags had been moved, and I suspected someone had been in my knicker drawer.

So, we decided to install some cameras, but the batteries weren’t holding up. We were certain that something fishy was going on.”

‘So we decided to set some cameras up but the batteries weren’t lasting. We thought something’s definitely going on.

‘We ended up taking photographs when we went out to show what the room was like and when we came back we noticed my bags had been moved. This was going on from practically day one. Things weren’t in their place.

‘I’d just bought a new bottle of Gucci perfume from the airport and that was gone.

‘We bought 400 fags on the plane and all the fags had gone within a week. I thought something isn’t right.
