Funmi, a female pilot known as Funmi on X, has joyfully marked the occasion of flying Davido on a private jet. On Thursday, she posted a video of Davido disembarking from a plane and took a moment to reminisce about the early stages of her career.
Funmi recalled facing criticism when she initially tweeted Davido about her aspiration to fly him on his jet. Despite the challenges, she expressed her happiness at seizing the opportunity to pilot the singer, even if it wasn’t on his personal aircraft.
She wrote, “It’s so funny how at the beginning of my career, I got dragged badly on Twitter because I tweeted at Davido that I wanted to fly him on his jet.
“Well, yesterday I got to fly him though not on his jet. Moral lesson: Life with its twists and turns sometimes eventually aligns.”
