The Federal Government, through the Central Bank of Nigeria, has increased the exchange rate for cargo clearance from N783/$ to N952/$.
This comes barely three weeks after the rate was raised from N757/$ to N783/$. In November, it was reported that the exchange rate for cargo clearance increased from N757 per dollar to N783 per dollar, representing a 3.4% increase.
However, it was observed on Thursday that the updated rate is now showing on the Nigeria Customs Service portal.
