Collapsed Building in Oyinggbo Neighborhood of Lagos State.
On Oloto Street in the Oyingbo neighbourhood of Lagos State, an old woman lost her life on Thursday morning when a structure partially collapsed.
According to a statement from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the woman passed away as a result of the partial collapse.
But according to the agency, nobody was hurt in the collapse.
The agency stated that “the ageing and neglect of the structure resulted in an internal suspended beam in a room collapsing at approximately 7:45am.
Search and rescue efforts have begun, according to LASEMA, which also stated that the building has been roped off and Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) has been notified.
