Samuel Chukwueze, the Super Eagles winger
On Wednesday, upon his return to Italy from the African Cup of Nations, Samuel Chukwueze, the Super Eagles winger, was warmly welcomed by AC Milan players and coaches.
A video posted on the club’s Instagram account depicted the moment Chukwueze was greeted by his teammates, including the Portuguese star Rafael Leao, as he arrived at the club’s training ground.
After competing against Cagliari in the Coppa Italia, Chukwueze departed Milan for international duty on January 2nd. During the AFCON tournament, the 24-year-old appeared in five out of Nigeria’s seven matches.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria ultimately secured the silver medal following their 2-1 loss to Ivory Coast in the AFCON final.
