Charly Boy urges the EFCC to redirect its attention away from Bobrisky, stating, “Go and find better work; he is not our problem.


Charly Boy, a seasoned entertainer, has criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for its actions regarding the arrest, arraignment, and detention of crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.

In a post on his social media handle, Charly Boy urged the commission to focus on more pressing matters and leave Bobrisky alone, stating that Bobrisky is not Nigeria’s problem.


Bobrisky was arrested on April 3 and appeared in court on April 5 for allegedly abusing the Naira.

After pleading guilty, the court remanded him in EFCC detention until April 9 for judgment.

However, due to the Eid-Fitri holiday, the judgment date has been rescheduled. See Charly Boy’s post below…
