Honorable Zayyanu Muhammad Bello
Honorable Zayyanu Muhammad Bello, who led Maiyama Local Government, has passed away. The Kebbi State Government shared the sad news after he struggled with sickness for a long time.
The announcement about his death came through a statement from Ahmed Idris, who is the spokesperson for the governor, on Thursday.
Bello, a committed public servant, passed away early in the morning at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH) in Sokoto.
The statement read, “Regrettably, with a heavy heart, I announce the death of Hon. Zayyanu Muhammad Bello, Executive Chairman of Maiyama Local Government.
“He died early this morning at UDUTH Sokoto after a protracted illness.”
The government will share information about his funeral plans with the public at the right time, as mentioned in the statement.
