Mark Angel, the guardian of young comedienne Emmanuella, issued an apology to the Nigerian public following the unexpected circulation of an ‘inappropriate’ video showcasing her dancing on Thursday, December 15.
In a statement posted on Instagram, Mark Angel explained that an adult, driven by a desire for views, shared Emmanuella’s video after downloading it from her WhatsApp status, instead of reporting it to them as a family friend.
According to him, Emmanuella had worn an “inappropriate dress” belonging to her older sister, created the video, and shared it on her WhatsApp status. Subsequently, the ‘view-hungry’ adult downloaded the video.
Mark Angel urged Nigerians to view this incident as a mistake, and he emphasized that he is taking measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.
