A car accident claims the life of an aide to the Governor of Katsina.

Less than two months after his appointment was joyfully announced, Shamsudeen Abubakar, who served as the Senior Special Assistant on Islamic Education to Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda, tragically lost his life in a car accident on Tuesday, October 17, in the vicinity of Rigachikun within the state. On the very same day, he was laid to rest in his hometown.

The funeral prayer and burial of the deceased were attended by Aminu Ibrahim, who represents Malumfashi Constituency in the Katsina State House of Assembly, along with Bello Kagara, the Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, and a number of his personal aides.

Additionally, Radda paid a visit to the late aide’s family and was accompanied by a group of sympathizers.

He offered prayers for the peaceful rest of the departed soul and beseeched God to watch over and provide for his family.
